Now that we’ve discussed what a ‘browser’ even is, let’s talk about browser windows. In this case, ‘windows’ does not mean Microsoft Windows.
We are talking about the physical area on your computer screen where your browser is displayed. You can have multiple browser windows open a time which can sometimes make navigating your work difficult.

The area shown on my screen that is NOT my desktop in the background is my browser window. When I open Google Chrome to surf the internet, a window appears. Sometimes the window takes up my entire screen, sometimes it’s smaller like in the image above.
The main thing to remember about browser windows is YOU CAN MOVE THEM!
In the video below, pay attention to my cursor or mouse. By clicking and holding while moving my mouse I can resize and move the windows on my screen.
To resize you will hover your mouse over a corner or edge of your browser window. Click and drag to resize.
To move your window, you’ll click at the top of the window in the blank space, hold down your mouse, and move your mouse.
Remember to click and HOLD down your mouse button to move or resize your windows. Once you’ve mastered moving and resizing, you will be able to much easier see everything you are working on at once.
Resizing and moving windows also works with programs like Microsoft Word or any video players. Give it a try!
